Repeat opportunity for the Social Networking workshop from BTH
ALIA Qld Library Technicians Group invites you to participate in a workshop hosted by Fiona Winston-Brown, Senior Librarian, Australian College of Natural Medicine. Fiona recently presented to “Beyond the Hype: Web 2.0” held at QUT 1 February 2008. Her workshop was entitled “Social Networking tools: facebook and myspace”.
She has very kindly agreed to enlarge upon this theme for our group’s first workshop of the year. Please see below details:
When: Saturday 29 March 2008
Where: Australian Catholic University, Banyo Library, 1100 Nudgee Road, Banyo
Registration: 1pm – 1.30pm
Session: 1.30 – 3.30pm (Hands-on in computer lab)
Free time: 3.30 – 4.30 (continue with “playing” on computers, and enjoy afternoon tea with your colleagues)
Cost: $20 ALIA Members, $30 non-members, $10 students
