Saturday.......Lunch and other Yoummy things!

It's just after lunch - wasn't it just delicious (bit muggy thanks to the rain though) the last session is about to start.

The morning 'B' session offered up a lot of questions as well as answers to the three different topics discussed - Podcasting; Virtual research environments; Legal risks of some web 2.0 technologies.

Hopefully delegates got as much out of it as I did.

First day - nearly over...

Well, it's 4.40pm and the first day is nearly over. The morning session was not without some minor dramas - no camera, no chairs & tables (for lunch), fun times setting up the AV equipment for recording etc etc. In the end it all turned out well, and our keynote speaker Christine Mackenzie presented an informative discussion on the mainstreaming of library 2.0.

The registration area was very quiet during the second session as all but a few registered attendees had already arrived.

One sleep to go!

So here I am my first Blog posting ever! How cool.

For those who don't know me (probably everyone), I am one of the student volunteers for the Symposium. I prefer to be called Chele (pronounced shelly), It's easier than the mouthful that is my name. This is my first outing into the social aspects of the web apart from talking to my friends via instant messaging. I am looking forward to learning as much as I possiblly can about all aspects.
